He has lectured at the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
Jim is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, reserved for less than one-half of 1% of the lawyers in the country and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the oldest professional medical organization in the country. He is the past chair of the American Health Lawyers Association’s Healthcare Liability and Litigation Practice Group and a member of numerous other professional associations.
Jim received a J.D. from Duquesne University (1982) and a B.A. from Shippensburg State University (1979).
